Kopo Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Cloud Systems ("Smart Cloud Systems," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Kopo.

Information we collect
- Account information, such as your Firebase user ID, sign-in provider, anonymous account status, and, when you sign in with Google or Apple, the email address or account identifier handled by that authentication provider and Firebase Authentication.
- Profile information, such as your nickname, avatar URL, provider, star count, profile creation date, and profile update date.
- Avatar image data if you choose to upload an avatar. Kopo may use your device camera or photo library only when you choose those options.
- Game and online play information, such as game state, matchmaking status, player presence, invited players, scores, leaderboard data, and other information needed to run online games.
- Feedback you submit in the app, including your Firebase user ID, feedback text, and submission date.
- Purchase and subscription information needed to verify and maintain the Remove Ads Monthly entitlement, such as product ID, platform, transaction ID or purchase token, active status, expiry date, and store state.
- App analytics and diagnostics, such as game events, navigation events, purchase attempts, restore attempts, and other app usage events collected through Firebase Analytics.
- Advertising and consent information handled through Google Mobile Ads, including whether ads can be requested and whether privacy options are required for your region.
How we use information
- To create and maintain your Kopo account and player profile.
- To run gameplay, matchmaking, invitations, presence, and leaderboards.
- To display your nickname, avatar, and game-related status to other players where the app requires it.
- To provide ads and to remove ads when you have an active subscription.
- To verify purchases and restore subscription entitlements.
- To process feedback, troubleshoot issues, improve features, and measure app performance.
- To protect the app, enforce our Terms of Use, and prevent abuse.
What other players may see
Other players may see information needed for gameplay and social features, including your nickname, avatar, online presence, game seat or player position, scores, stars, leaderboard position, and game actions. Your Google or Apple email address is not shared publicly by Kopo.
Service providers and third parties
Kopo uses third-party services to operate the app. These services may process information under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Firebase Authentication for account sign-in and identity.
- Cloud Firestore and Realtime Database for profiles, games, configuration, feedback, and app data.
- Firebase Storage for avatar image storage.
- Cloud Functions for server-side gameplay and subscription verification.
- Firebase Analytics for app analytics.
- Google Mobile Ads for advertising and ad consent/privacy options.
- Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple for account linking and sign-in.
- Apple App Store and Google Play for purchases, billing, subscription management, and refunds.
Ads and analytics
Kopo may show banner and interstitial ads. Ads may be provided by Google Mobile Ads. Depending on your location and settings, Google or its partners may use information such as device identifiers, consent choices, and ad interactions to provide, measure, and improve ads. Kopo also uses Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used.
Where available, Kopo provides privacy options through the in-app Privacy Options control.
Subscriptions and purchases
If you buy Remove Ads Monthly, the purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive and store only the information needed to verify the subscription and keep the remove-ads entitlement active in Kopo. Payment details such as full card numbers are handled by Apple or Google, not by Kopo.
Children and minors
Kopo may be used by families, but it is not directed specifically to children. Minors should use Kopo only with permission and involvement from a parent or guardian. Players should not use a real name as a nickname or upload an actual photograph as an avatar.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information in Kopo, contact us at tresor.mvumbi@smartcloudsystems.net so we can review and, where appropriate, remove the information.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to operate Kopo, maintain accounts and entitlements, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and protect the app. Some game, purchase, analytics, backup, or log data may remain for a reasonable period after account changes or deletion requests.
Your choices and rights
- You can edit your nickname and avatar in the app.
- You can remove your avatar in the app where that option is available.
- You can use Google Mobile Ads privacy options when they are available in the app.
- You can request account and data deletion or contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or help with privacy questions.
- You can manage subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
Security
We use Firebase security rules, authenticated access controls, and store-managed purchase verification to help protect Kopo data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International processing
Kopo and its service providers may process and store information in countries or regions other than where you live. By using Kopo, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed in those locations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may provide additional notice in the app or through the app stores.
